Sunnyside reunion
About 300 former and present staff members of Sunny-; side Hospital will hold a reunion at the hospital this week-end. It is believed to be the first time such a gathering has been held. The visitors will inspect the hospital this afternoon after being welcomed by the principal nursing officer (Mrs M. C. Bazely). The medical superintendent (Dr T. E. Hall) will reply on behalf of the present staff, and the Director of the Division of Mental Health (Dr S. W. P. Mirams) will reply on behalf of the former staff. Mrs E. E. Glen will present a bouquet to Mrs Bazely on behalf of the Sunnyside Hospital Ex-nurses’ Association. There will be a social gathering at the Addington Racewav tea kiosk this evening. On Sunday about 200 people are expected to attend an inter-denominational service at the Church of the Good Shepherd at the hospital. In the afternoon about 100 vis itors will go by bus to visit Templeton Hospital.
