Santos “still only fair”

WELLINGTON.
The condition of the boxer, Joey Santos, who was admitted to Wellington Hospital unconscious after losing his Commonwealth junior welter-weight title bout with the Ghanaian, Joe Tetteh, last Thursday, was described as “still only fair” by a hospital spokesman yesterday. The 23-year-old boxer is receiving visits only from members of his immediate family.
