OBITUARY H. W. Brawn
"The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN. Horace William Brawn, the first racing stipendiary steward to be stationed at Dunedin, died at Canberra after a long illness. Mr Brawn was born in England and shifted to South Africa, where he was connected with several racing clubs. He was appointed a stipendiarysteward by the New Zealand Racing Conference and came to Dunedin in 1957. He went to Australia five years later.
