No interest
(N Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) LONDON, Septembei 27. None of the Ugandan Asians arriving in Britain h_d so far expressed an interest in emigrating to New Zealand, said a spokesman for New Zealand House, London, today. An official from New Zealand House has been visiting the newly-arrived Asians at army camps where they are being temporarily housed, but so far there has been little interest shown in New Zealand. “We’ve had some inquiries from Uganda,” the spokesman said, “but no-one has decided yet to go to New Zealand.”
