Anderson.—Without knowing all the circumstances it is difficult to make useful comparisons of court sentences. Voter.—lt would be more confusing to change a method to which voters have become accustomed by long usage. Well Groomed.—We have no doubt that they will be tidy and respectable; but we doubt whether it is practicable to dictate their hair styles. R. Davis.—On the contrary, many of the offenders are brought to book and are dealt with in the Magistrate’s Court or the Children’s Court.
