Fifteen watches, a transistor radio which sold for $l2. more than 100 umbrellas, and an assortment of children’s toys were among items so'd at a lost property auction in Christchurch vesterdav.

The sale, conducted by George Anderson and Son, Ltd. on behalf of the Christchurch Transport Board, attracted an attendance of 250.

Umbrellas sold quickly from 50c to $3. all the purchasers seeming happy with their buys, said the auctioneer. Mr H. F. W Davies. All items offered had been sold, he said.
