N.Z. golfer sets record

(N.Z. Press Assn —Copyright) MELBOURNE. The New Zealander, Miss G. Taylor, held the course record at 68 at the end of play yesterday in the Australian women’s golf championships at Barwon Heads, Melbourne. The course record of 75 was broken three times in 40 minutes during play.

The 72 - hole stroke event was won by a Sydney housewife, Mrs G. Gannon, who broke the old record twice in 36 holes.
