Hotel sold The Chateau Moana Hotel at Lake Brunner has been sold by its owners, Mr and Mrs C. Head, to Mr and Mrs G. J. Anderson, of Christchurch. Mr Head intends to remain at Moana where he is interested in the development and the sale of sections for, baches.—(F.O. House sold A house on 40 perches at 83 Bamford Street, Woolston, was sold at auction yesterday for $9400. The Government valuation is $3900. Mr E. G. Keenan, of Binns, Barber and Keenan, Ltd, was the auctioneer. Servicemen’s mail Persons writing to relatives serving with New Zealand units in the A.N.Z.U.K. force in Singapore would need to use a new address from September 1, said a spokesman for Defence Headquarters yesterday. The A.N.Z.U.K. force’s new post office in Singapore would open on that date. The forces concession postal rates from New Zealand to Singapore will be unchanged. The new address is A.N.Z.U.K., F.P.O. 5, Singapore, care C.P.0., Auckland.
