Boycott not to tour
(N.Z.P.A.-Keuter—Copyright) LONDON. G. Boycott, generally regarded as England’s No. 1 batsman, has told the England cricket selectors that he will not be available for this winter’s tour of India, Pakistan and Ceylon. Boycott, who said he could not go for “personal and domestic reasons,” is the sixth player to refuse the tour. The others are R. Illingworth, J. H. Edrich, J. A. Snow, M. J. K. Smith and R. Hutton.
