Clubs agree to amalgamate
Amalgamation of the Country Girls Clubs and Young Farmers Clubs was agreed to in principle during both organisations’ conferences in Rotorua last month.

r ing planned for circulation > to districts by next March and it will be presented for approval at the first com- ’ bined conference in Nelson ’ next June. Miss Lynley Tyson, secretary of the Avon Country ’ Girls’ Club, was elected chairman of the Christchurch district committee of the Federation of Country Girls’ Clubs, at its annual meeting recently. Vice-chairmen are Mrs Marilyn Stephens and Miss Jennifer Gardiner. Miss Jeanette Donaldson was . elected secretary and Miss i Ruth Gumbrell, treasurer.
