National Organisation for Women
Sir, —Most New Zealanders are fed up with the continuing story of contraception and free abortion. If N.O.W. were to plug for chastity for a change I am sure they would find backing and support from the majority rather than from the usual militant minority. The status of women no doubt needs much looking into but freedom from this and freedom from that is in most cases not true freedom but licence — an abuse of our reason to be. — Ynnrs pfc (MRS) JOCELYN YOUNG.
