PROPERTY AUCTIONS
A three-bedroom, brick house with a double garage at 14 Allister Avenue, Merivale, was sold for $25,000 at auction yesterday. The Government valuation is $15,600. The auctioneer was Mr M. H. McCrostie of N. H. McCrostie and Company. A two-bedroom, weatherboard bungalow on a 20.4perch section at 59 Wyndham Street, Papanui, was sold for $9450. The Government valuation is $5OOO. The auctioneer was Mr C. M. Robertson of Sherris and Wilson, Ltd. A three-bedroom house on a 28.5-perch section at 23 Havelock Street, Linwood, was sold for $6lOO yesterday. The Government valuation is $4OOO. The auctioneer was Mr D. J. Visser, of Daniel J. Visser.
