Dentures theft
A toothless wonian was fined about $2l with the alternative of 30 days prison, in Johannesburg yesterday, after she had pleaded guilty to stealing another woman’s dentures. Ellen Lucas told the Court that she stole the teeth from a glass of water at a neighbour’s home. When the Magistrate asked if she had used them, she replied, sobbing, “No, they were too big.”—Johannesburg, March 31.
