PROPERTIES NOT SOLD
A factory building of 22,000 sq. ft belonging to Sherlock and Cotton, Ltd, at 20-24 Southwark Street, was passed in at $185,000 at auction yesterday. The Government valuation is $lll,OOO. The auctioneer was Mr J. N. Allan, of Allan Sheppard and Smith, Ltd. A bungalow on nine acres of land at 116 Winters Road was also passed in at auction yesterday. The highest bid was $28,000; and the Government valuation is $22,500. Mr E. G. Keenan, of Binns, Barber and Keenan. Ltd, was the auctioneer. A two-storey house at 41 Cashmere Road was passed in at $19,500 at auction yesterday. The Government valuation is $15,400. Mr E. G. Keenan was again the auctioneer.
