Mr B. C. Lumsden has been appointed a member of the Trade Promotion Council. The managing director of Cunic Industries, Ltd, Wellington, he will replace Sir James Wattie, who retired from the council in December. Mr Lumsden will become chief executive of the Engineering Export Association of New Zealand from the beginning of April. — (P.AJ.
