Mayoral ban on ’Boks
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 29. If the South African Consul-General (Mr P. Philip) requested an interview with him, he would “have to refuse him,” said the Mayor of Auckland (Sir Dove-Myer Robinson) last night Speaking at a meeting arranged by the Citizens’ Association for Racial Equality, he also said he would hot attend receptions for Springbok players if they toured New Zealand next year.
