Mount Cook note issue
The Mount Cook and Southern Lakes Tourist Company, Ltd, propose to make an issue of convertable notes bearing interest at 8 per cent. Details of the proposal will be supplied to shareholders at an early date, the company says.
The proceeds of the issue would be used to finance the further expansion of the group.
Subject to the approval of the shareholders at a meeting to be called for June 28, existing shares will be ex-issue June 29.
Results to date are close to budget, with revenue in excess of budget, largely offsetting costs which rose rapidly during the last year, the directors say.
