(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Mar. 28. D.1.C., Ltd, increased turnover 10 per cent for the halfyear to January 31 compared with the same period of last year. The estimated profit also showed an increase, but the extent of the increase was not stated in the directors’ report. The estimated profit was considered reasonable after making allowance for payroll tax, they said. The lower provision for taxation had resulted in an extra increase in the profit. The directors expect that the trading for the full year will again be satisfactory, provided turnover is maintained.
