New block for Burnside H.S.
(From Our Own Reporter? WELLINGTON, Mar. 29. Tenders are to be called for the construction of another new classroom block at Bumside High School, according to advice received by the member for Riccarton t (Mr Holland) from the Minister of Education (Mr Pickering). The new block, for senior studies, will include classrooms, seminar rooms, study rooms, a lecture room, a pupil’s common room and biology laboratories.
