Price for good fleece firm

INVERCARGILL, March 22. The market for good crossbred fleece at the second day of the Invercargill wool sale today was firm compared with Monday’s prices.
Tender and poor-style crossbred fleece was up to 2| per Cent cheaper, but the market was unchanged for second-shear wool, said the official report. Compared drith the first day, lambs’ wool was erratic, but skirtings and clothing oddments were firm. Ewe fleece made up the bulk of the offering. The main competition again came from the Continent, with support by the United States and Bradford. RANGES OF PRICES
