Programme
A brighter programme has been arranged for the fourty-seventh annual Mayfield Agricultural and Pastoral Show on Saturday. As well as the traditional attractions of the show, this year’s programme includes a marching girls display and a baby show. The judging of all classes will be completed during the morning, as will the national dancing and F.E.I. jumping competitions. The afternoon’s events will include blade shearing, the Grand Parade, and the F.E.I. hit-and-hurry. The programme is: 8.30 a.m. Sheep Dog Trials. 9.00 a.m. Judging of All Classes except hunters, cattle and pigs. 10.00 a.m.: Judging of Cattle and Pigs. 10.30 a.m.: National Dancing. 11.00 a.m.: F.E.I, jumping. 1.00 p.m.: Blade Shearing heats. 1.00 p.m.: Marching girls display. 2.00 p.m.: Baby show. 3.00 p.m.: Blade shearing final. 3.30 p.m.: Grand Parade; F.E.I. hit-and-hurry to follow.
