Opposition to service
A meeting of 20 people from Christian, student and youth groups was held last evening to form the Christchurch branch of the Organisation to Halt Military Service.

Newman, a spokesman for the Christchurch branch of the organisation. O.H.M.S. began in Wellington last month to co-or-dinate the activities of groups and individuals opposed to compulsory military training,” he said.
