Manufacturers go to P.M.

WELLINGTON, March 7. The Manufacturers’ Federation today made a number of recommendations to the Government concerning taxation, export incentives, and the protection of industry. The federation’s president (Mr H. H. Saunders) and its executive had a two-hour meeting with the Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) and other Cabinet Ministers. Mr Saunders said the Government had promised to study the recommendations.
