Students’ fees
Sir, —Would the president of the Canterbury University Students’ Association please tell me whether any Students’ Association funds are donated towards organisations such as H.A.R.T. or C.A.R.E., and if so which are they and how much is given? —Yours, etc., INTERESTED. March 1, 1972. [Mr J. Crichton, president of the University of Canterbury Students’ Association, replies: “Organisations such as H.A.R.T. and C.A.R.E. receive the unreserved support of the University of Canterbury Students’ Association. We have no financial commitment to either organisation, however, apart from the affiliation fee to CA.R.E., and individual members of the Students’ Association do give often quite substantial sums to both organisations.”]
