Medal for Mr Cross
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright; TAIPEI. A New Zealand sports official, Mr C. L. S. Cross, has received a medal from Taiwan’s Minister of Education (Mr Ip Yun-Ping), the Central News Agency reported yesterday. The medal is in recognition of Mr Cross’s contribution to the promotion of sport. Mr Cross is a member of the International Olympic Committee. , Last evening Mr Cross was the guest of honour at a dinner given by General Yang Sen, president of Taiwan’s Olympic Committee. Mr Cross later left for New Zealand.
