Thefts from businesses
Bacon, ham, cigarettes and a wrist watch worth a total of $ll5 were taken from the Quality Inn Milk Bar, 210 High Street, on Wednesday night. The Bridale Salon, 633 Colombo Street, was burgled and an electric clock, telephone, scissors and sunglasses valued at $96 were stolen.
Liquor worth $97 was taken from the private bar of the Bower Hotel, Bower Avenue, New Brighton.
