Bangladesh mail
All mail services to Bangladesh have now been resumed, according to the acting Chief Postmaster (Mr H. W. Metcalfe). Air mails to West Pakistan, which were formerly sent by way of Teheran, are now being forwarded to Karachi. However, as New Zealand does not forward direct air mail to either administration, all air mail to both countries and surface mail to Bangladesh is forwarded to Sydney for inclusion in closed mails sent by the Australian Post Office, Mr Metcalfe says.
