S.I. croquet results
K. Woollett (Ohakune) scored his second triple peel in the South Island croquet championships being played in Christchurch, when he beat A. Hands (Christchurch) in the open championship singles on Saturday. R. J. Clarke (Gisborne) scored two walk-over wins in the open singles, by 26-1 in each case, but then in the men’s championship the tables were turned on Clarke and he was beaten by another Gisborne player, C.
