Firemen hurt

AUCKLAND, January 9.
Three firemen were injured fighting a blaze which raged through a large factory at Onehunga this afternoon. The factory had been closed for the week-end, and nobody was inside it.
After fighting the flames in choking smoke for about an hour, 50 firemen brought the blaze under control. Many thousands of dollars worth of damage was done to the factory, Papercutters, Ltd, in Princes Street. Most of the paper stocks and machinery were destroyed and a truck was damaged. One of\the injured firemen fell from a ladder, and was knocked unconscious. Another had bums on his hand, and the third was overcome by smoke.
