NEARING COMPLETION.—The Union Steam Ship Company’s 8900-ton turboelectric vessel Rangatira in the final stages of completion at the Walker Yard of Swan Hunter Shipbuilders, Ltd, Newcastle-on-Tyne. The 490ft ship is expected to enter service between Lyttelton and Wellington early next year.
