Visitors to Diamond Harbour who want to know where to find the local library, a doctor or how to call the volunteer fire brigade, will now be able to consult an appropriate booklet.
A guide to the Diamond Harbour district has been published by the Diamond Harbour Burgesses’ Association. The chairman (Mr M. J. Whittaker) says that it has been written with the holiday season in mind. Visitors are invited to write to the association for copies. The price is 20c. Post Office hours, milk deliveries, rubbish collections and the launch timetable are included in the essential information for holidaymakers.
