President Amin said yesterday that he hoped very shortly to reopen Uganda’s border with Sudan, which was closed in May, 1969, by the government of President Obote. Speaking at the con-
secretation of a church monument in the Madi district of north-western Uganda, bordering southern Sudan, General Amin said that he had sent a delegation to Khartoum led by the Ugandan Ambassador to Egypt (Captain Khamis Younis Wenn), who is also Ambassador-designate to Sudan.—Kampala, November 29.
