"Peyton Place”
Sir,—Regarding the final episode of “Peyton Place," as shown on the Christchurch channel on Wednesday evening, was this the same episode shown on all the New Zealand channels as the final episode? Was this episode the final one in the production of "Peyton Place”? If not, why did the N.Z.B.C. see fit to curtail this' serial so suddenly after dragging on for six years? Surely the question of funds to purchase any further episodes would not be the reason after the
recent four-dollar increase in TV licence fees.—Yours, etc., DISAPPOINTED.
