Outstanding double
An outstanding double was achieved in the Third Grade C competition. Playing for Grosvenor against Shirley, V. Costello scored 108 not out and then bowling against Shirley in their first innings took seven wickets for seven runs.
This performance undoubtedly paved the way for his team's outright victory.
