Fine innings by Turner
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. A fine innings of 90 by the New Zealand and Worcester opening batsman, G. M. Turner, highlighted the first day of the Otago Plunket Shield trial yesterday. Turner batted for 150 minutes and hit 13 fours, most of them from splendidlytimed drives through the covers.
