Visiting for Christmas
(N.Z Press Association)
LONDON, November 14. Air New Zealand’s London office can claim a large stake in the flight from Los Angeles inaugurating a fifth frequency service from the North American city.
AU 151 passengers on the DCB were booked from London. They are members of the Australia-New Zealand immigrants families association, and are going to New Zealand to be with relatives over the Christmas period. Not content with this coup, the London office has also provided all the passengers for Air New Zealand’s sixth frequency service from Los Angeles, which is due to start on January 31. “This is part of a growing trend toward bulk movement of passengers,” said Air New Zealand’s regional manager for Europe and the United Kingdom (Mr D. Brasell). “We have several other large groups and charters booked during the next few months.”
