EXCITING FINISH
Saloon car racing (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. R. Emson (Auckland), driving a Holden Torana XU-1, won the first Winfield half-hour production saloon car feature race at Teretonga Park yesterday. In a dramatic, last-minute change of lead, Emson overtook the race leader, E. Sprague (Timaru), on the last lap. Results were:— Winfield production saloon car race, preliminary (6 laps).—E.
