Tibet
Sir, —I feel I must protest against “P.J.A.’s” ridiculous statement that Tibet was Chinese territory at the time of the Communist invasion. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. China and Tibet were two very distinct countries. Although the Chinese have done their best to destroy all things Tibetan, the Tibetan people will never give up hope that justice will be done and Tibet returned to the Dalai Lama and his Cabinet. Obviously, “P.J.A.” has had some contact with Chinese propaganda and has his facts entirely confused. If he had any knowledge of the Chinese atrocities which go on ceaselessly in Tibet he could not possibly hold such views.— Yours, etc., ANTI-GENOCIDE. September 8, 1971.
