“New Zealand’s Heritage”

Sir, —The Australian publishers are going |o great lengths to publicise “New Zealand’s Heritage” and have persuaded Dr Brie i Edwards to take up its advertising. On radio and television he says he agreed to sponsor “New Zealand’s Heritage” only if he was convinced that the claims made in the advertisement were true and that he had read it As the total publication is not yet fully compiled, there would appear to, be some discrepancy in his statement.— Yours, etc., VIEWER. September 3, 1971. [Dr Brian Edwards replies: "I confess all. I have not read those parts of ’New Zealand’s Heritage’ which have not yet been written. Has anyone?’’]
