Investigation of fires
A series of fires on Tuesday at Aulsebrook and Company, Ltd, on the comer of Montreal and St Asaph streets, was investigated and satisfactorily settled by the Christchurch C. 1.8. yesterday. The fires occurred in various parts of the building. One of the fires caused slight damage to a number of cartons. It was put out by employees with buckets of water before the arrival of fire engines from the Central fire station.
