The, thieves strolled casually into the High Court, walked up to the second floor where the carpets, worth £2OO were rolled and stacked in a comer. They picked them up, brought them downstairs, put them in a blue van and drove off. The carpets were to have been laid in Lord Widgery’s chambers later in the day. I
