Cruelty to animals
Sir,—I agree with “Eyes Opened’ regarding the Canterbury S.P.C.A. stall at the Industries Fair. In my long association with the society this is the best thing by fat that it has done; and sincere congratulations are due to the person who had the idea and to those who carried it out so strikingly. I have been very proud to have given some of my time to the project and to realise that even ■ the most dedicated cynic cannot deny the horror or truth of the photographs displayed.—Yours, etc., EILEEN McNEIL.
