Sire of 2:00 performer
Scotch Abbe, which is at G. V Magineness’s stud at Lincoln, has his first two-minute performer last month. This was Rotybus, which returned 2min when he won a $lO,OOO race at Brandywine on August 14. This W’as the eighth success for the year of Rotybus, which was second tn a race won in Imin 39sec on the same course in June. Scotch Abbe sired another win-! ner at Bandywine last month. Dusty June Scott winning in 2min 4sec.
A son of Gene Abbe, Scotch Abbe was lightly used at the stud tn the United States and left 39 foals, the oldest of which are five and the youngest are one. To the end of 1970 they had won $156,000 in stakes.
