The Christchurch Gas Amendment Bill was read a third time and passed yesterday afternoon. Mr B. G. Barclay (Lab., Christchurch Central) presented the petition of W. J. D. McFaul and 20,000 others seeking relief for ratepayers. Ministers answered 17 questions. The House proceeded with the discussion of legislation.
