More bookings to Copenhagen
<N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 31. Scandinavian Airlines System has reported a dramatic increase in seat booking on flights from London to Copenhagen after last week’s expedition to the Danish capital by Lord Longford’s team of inquiry into pornography. The members of the unofficial commission, which will prepare a special report on pornography, went to Denmark to examine the effects of that country’s “anything goes” sex policy. The team’s experiences havs been reported fully by fhe British press, and the Danish capital now enjoys fresh fame.
A spokesman for S.A.S. told reporters: “We have no actual figures yet, but Saturday was extremely busy, despite the usual increase of passengers over a holiday week-end. There is no other apparent reason for the rush.”
