MAN FOUND DEAD
The body of a forestry worker was found lying on a bed charred by fire in a single hut at the Eyrewell Forest camp at 7.30 a.m. yesterday. He was Bruce Edward Large, aged 38, single. The Rangiora police said that the man’s clothing, the bedding, and the walls of the hut were charred. He was burnt on the body. There were no suspicious circumstances.
An inquest opened by the North Canterbury' District Coroner (Mr A. C. Fraser) yesterday was adjourned sine die.
