Mr A. J. H. Hutchison, a civil engineer, of Wellington, has been appointed deputychairman of the Water Pollution Control Council as jfrom October 1.
Colonel T. F. Hegglun has been appointed honorary colonel of the 2nd Battalion (Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast), Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment for a term of four years. He replaces Brigadier T. B. Master, whose term has expired.
