Escaper seen

A sighting in St Albans is the only reliable report the police have received of the prisoner who escaped from custody at Christchurch Hospital on Monday. The prisoner, Louis Leslie John Harris, aged 32, was on remand to Addington Prison on a charge of escaping from custody at Rolleston Prison. Harris is now believed to be wearing an orange, longsleeved jersey and • lightcoloured trousers. He is described as being sft Bin, of slim build, with a tanned complexion and brown, brushed-back hair. He has a slim, drawn face, and the backs of both hands are tattooed.
