Hockey colts win again

(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. Canterbury beat Taranaki, 5-0, in a tight game at the New Zealand colts hockey tournament yesterday. Canterbury set the pace for all but the first five minutes. The Canterbury score would certainly have been higher if it had not been for the Taranaki goalie, J. Bidwell.

Scorers for Canterbury were C. Maister (3), and M. Tillman (2). The half time score was 3-0.

Results: Canterbury 5, Taranaki 0; Otago 2, Southern Districts North 0; Eastern Districts 5, Manawatu 1; Auckland 5, Wairarapa 2; Nelson 1, Southland 1.
