Reuter’s new man in Peking
W.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 5. Reuters announced today that it had decided to reopen its bureau in Peking, with James Pringle, aged 34, as its correspondent Arrangements for his arrival in China are now being discussed with the Chinese, who have accepted his nomination. Reuters has had no staff in Peking since October, 1969, when the Chinese released its former correspondent, Anthony Grey, from more than two years house detention.
